why do you think it is each others ego seems to get in the way of the collective? we all love these films why can't we all enjoy them together? if we are trying to get the same things done why can't we do them together?
I don't think it's just about egos, I think it can be a personality clash. Some people just won't get along well together no matter what. It happens in all walks of life; it may be work mates that we don't get along with or sometimes even family members. I guess it's just a part of life that we can't avoid.
true... humans are flawed. that same flaw is what has us polluting drinking water and wondering why kids get birth defects. everyone has different opinions but i'm thinking ego and personality are pretty closely linked but i ain't no Dr. phil. people that usually clash are those with strong egos. what occupies that ego is different for different individuals. when it comes down to it who cares about petty differences. i mean we are just talking about movies but the principals can be applied to anything in life. some people get along with everyone and some people clash with everyone. everyone makes mistakes but to keep making the same mistakes and not learn from them is foolish.
I guess some people are incapable of learning from past mistakes and moving on. As for ego, probably it's the ego that helps shape a person's personality, so both are big factors. Just look at what's happening around the world, places like Syria - this type of thing has happened countless times before, yet still it continues. Some people just cannot change, or at least they will not unless forced by circumstances.
I enjoy sharing with everyone and I expect nothing back. Usually, that's what you get as well. When people can't even type a simple "thanks" I just hope they will some day grow up.
when it comes down to it. its all about the films. we all want to see the best possible versions and if working together would make it possible or easier why wouldn't anyone do it or help? what continues this attitude? there is such a sense of entitlement from collectors why isn't there a sense of the necessary work involved to accomplish such tasks?
