I must give Pete Jr. a credit for releasing "FLEXIBLE JUDGE PAO", that one was really rare!
It was first released by Falkor and Adonis from their RAREKF offers last year. Pete took that version and did some clean-up and removed tape rolls, but he is not the one who first made it available. It was part of the same deal as Shaolin Vs Lama Widescreen. The deal was organised by Roger Judd, and these deals continue every month or so.

Very difficult question ! For me anything good I haven't seen. SECRET ENVOY is a big one & really anything old/rare stuff not out there... Also any Dragon Lee movies not around a lot would be great!!
PS. Any chance you guys will be making a small detour across the borders & into Taiwan (Cinema scene) in the distant future ? WOMAN ON THE HOUR comes to mind ... ! :D (KIDDING!! Well sort of...;d)
Good answer Athena, most of movies that Hungry mentioned are really hell rare and we could use them as project. If you are asking me from Korea I would chose "Black Dragon River" (1976), why? Well mostly because it is early work of Hwang Jang Lee, Casanova Wong and Elton Chong, we have amazing print and I think that it would be realy criminal to make this one unreleased. Athena made good point with Taiwanese stuff, but dont worry we have huge knowledge about Taiwanese cinema and we are really into Taiwanese cinema, but just at the moment we are doing projects for Korea. I wont tell your about our Taiwanese projects because it is secret for now :), but you will be very happy when we finish it. "WOMAN ON THE HOUR" is hell rare film after which I have been for already some time, similar thing is with "MAGIC RING" & "LUNG MUN TAI BO". By the way I must give Pete Jr. a credit for releasing "FLEXIBLE JUDGE PAO", that one was really rare!
Rarity of Taiwanese cinema, "Magic Ring" is for now considered lost since there are no known copies in circulation.
"Massacre Survivor" used to be something like holy grail for Kung Fu movies fans since it was in similar situation like "Magic Ring", that means no known copies were around. And then as you all know Toby turned up with copy and he sold it for £2000...
black dragon river will be released next month hopefully if all goes to plan. its already finished just looking for bonus material. bruce and jackie to the rescue is a taiwan-korean co production and thats slated for next month as well. i may have just come across the motherload of korean films so i'm asking whats on the top of peoples list so i can use it for a guide while browsing.
Would love to see both BLUE BUTTERFLY THE AMAZON and DOUBLE BED COMMOTION (Elton chong) subbed!
Here's a wild clip of Blue Butterfly the Amazon for those who don't know anything about that film:

Major reason because I was into this film is little known Korean actor KIM KI-HONG, in my opinion this guy is amazing. In his performance you can see that he is real martial artist, beside TKD I have heard that he used to practice Kendo as well. It is real shame that he made so less movies, but his performances in "SECRET NINJA, ROARING TIGER" & "DRAGON'S SNAKE FIST" are top in my book.
I totally forgot that Kaleyboy, I remember that deal it was organised some time after "Massacre Survivor".
There have been a few more deals from them since; they've put out some pretty rare stuff including Story Of 36 Killers, which has also be re-released by FLK.
story of 36 killers is one i want to see. thats pretty sweet!
maybe we need a taiwan section. but the lines of taiwan and hk have been blured by distributors and film makers for a long time just like some korean films. some serious hours of research required there for sure. but back to korean films
I think Taiwanese swordplay & kung fu films have only been touched on really. Must be many still out there waiting to be discovered. But same goes for Korean films; basically it's all good, lol.
The films mentioned in the OP all interest me. Especially Canton Viper. I keep nagging Monkeygift about the Water Seller film. Any of Casanova's unsubbed films would be good.
I must mention a big thumbs up for RareKF. The guys clearly have a sizeable collection, and it's great that they're sharing it through these deals. I've been a member of Roger's consortium from the start and there's never been any problems whatsoever. RareKF have conducted their business superbly. Massacre Survivor caused quite a negative stir, but I'm glad that more deals could be arranged. It's given me the opportunity to watch films like Chivalry Deadly Feud, 36 Killers, Judge Pao, Shaolin vs Lama wide, and other niceties. It just goes to show that there's lots of stuff out and about.
yes we have to big up RareKF those were the first guys that had a site with such rares. i wish falkor was a little bit more active these days. no one can hype a film like falkor! in fact we always respect more experienced groups and try to reach out to them when ever we can and learn from their experiences. the more kung fu the better
There are also a bunch of old Hwang In-Sik films from the 70's that never been seen with subtitles before and that would be great to be great to been seen upgraded.

You probably read it in the other thread but we have the FULLY TRANSLATED script for Canton Viper as we speak, so this one will be coming out soon my friend :)
like i said before, a treasure trove of korean rares have been found and we want to get the most wanted films first. i'm thinking lady blacksmith is up there not sure whats around in collectors circles
