the hardcore kung fu fan scene is very small and even smaller on the internet. with kung fu releases coming few and far in between the fandom has for years been looking more and more within itself for its guilty pleasures. trades, lobby cards, posters and magazines from the past became a medium for fans to re-live these films for years while many of them were unavailible. in recent years "the fan project" has become a new source of fan satisfation. PC hardware and software has given fans more tools to express their passion for their favorite films. this has given some fans the ability to share with others in places there is no way to get these films. the need to be entertained and the desire to satisfy that need has become the mother of invention in this case. my point is through some need people tend to band together through friendship or common interest to serve that common need. i have been very lucky to have been blessed with many great friends that have shared their love of films with me in some way. chatting and watching these films in a social setting is my favorite way but i can honestly say the way everyone is coming together and offering what ever they can to help is a new experience and satisfying on so many levels. i wish everyone could understand we are the same 50-300 guys out there reading/writing posts, reviews, watching youtube and listening to pod casts. we are the same guys that do battle on ebay, the same guys that show concern when one of us when we are down on our luck or sick and the same guys that have to occupy the same virtual space so please be kind to each other show compassion and help those when you can.
Good points! I just want to clarify: I don't actually think you mean guys as in males do you? :D You know there are some cool female fans out there too! & That brings me to something I forgot when I "introduced" myself. I am friends with AT LEAST 4 of you on Facebook if not more. & I think most of you guys (see I use that word too !!) know of our cool Facebook PAGE?

the sisterhood has blessed my newsfeed for quite a while. it's quite documented i love the ladies :) i follow a few of your admins blogs as well. anyone that loves these films gets my support. the display of strong women on screen (not just kung fu) has contributed to many young ladies aspirations. saying that leads me back to my point. its always cool to give a helping hand when you can. i'm inspired by all the help that has been offered so far to us its kind of amazing to see how each persons input adds to the final out come with these things we set out to acomplish.
