Anybody aware of that rare sexy comedy called "Double Bed Commotion" (or Sex Report? according to the poster) 1988 with ELTON CHONG, Kwak Eun-kyung (famous for many Korean erotic films), Kook Jong-hwan (played many time the bad guy in various martial art films) & Kang Yong-kyu (Canton Viper)
Just found one shop/collector with it so far. The price isn't that cheap but since we will never find another one... it might be a good idea to get it asap.
The movie is about 60-65$ if anybody interested and as I said, there is only one copy out there that I can get and that's it. Might also need to check if the collector still have it.
If you mean that we will get fans I honestly hardly believe in that. Don't get me wrong if there is anyone who would like to see more Korean martial art film aroun thats me but as I mentioned it is hardly possible. Korean films were always last on the list of martial art films in Asia since HK and Taiwanese flicks were regulary released to the west unlike Korean ones that the major reason why so many Korean films stayed lost/unseen until now. All fans of martial art film genre probably have watched few Korean films but only very small group of us are truly interested in only pure Korean productions. Another reason is Godfrey Ho, guy that wasn't good enough to make his own films so he stole unreleased Korean flicks re-naming and dubbing them he added some trash scenes and made non-plot movies and just made fun of them...
Yes, I think this film (if subbed) would maybe attract other genre fans, not just kung fu.
I've never been found of those late 80's B-type comedy/action, especially not the Korean ones as they usually are very primitive in terms or technical aspect and in the comedy department. But this film is such a weird mix of genres that I would really like to see what the hell they came up with.
The only other weird film like that that I have in mind would be Adventure in Denmark...
On top of that, I think this was Elton Chong last film (at least in Korea) so what happened? lol.

I finally purchased that film last weekend when I made a trip to Seoul. I think I got the last copy available in any stores down there so I'm pretty happy about my catch. It wasn't cheap but hey! that film is so damn rare. Later I will post some pictures of the VHS cover. Can't wait to watch this!
As we are closing in on many projects right now (for September) we will start looking this Fall at which next Korean film we should do. I's going ti be interesting because we just got our hands on 6-7 rare titles recently.
