Not seen much Japanese stuff but Sonny Chiba certainly made some of my favourites lot of people like the THE STREET FIGHTER & RETURN OF THE STREET FIGHTER but not many like the 3rd one THE STREET FIGHTERS LAST REVENGE the SISTER STREET FIGHTER films are good but I've only seen the 1st, KARATE WARRIORS was good. I think thou I prefer some of the more historical films like the Masutatsu Oyama(Chiba's Karate teacher/master & founder of Kyokushin Karate) films(KARATE BULLFIGHTER, KARATE BEAR FIGHTER & KARATE FOR LIFE) but my favourite of all Sonny Chiba's is THE KILLING MACHINE was good & action, despite the title it's a man inspired by Buddhism.

Recently I watched not a film with Yasuaki Kurata but a TV Series called FIGHT! DRAGON it's very much a TV series inspired by Bruce Lee even featuring Bruce Liang. I think it's one of the most action packed TV series ever & very great.
