it totaly depends on your tastes in films heres how i see them
I WILL FINALLY KNOCK YOU DOWN, DAD!- a shaw film from the time when they started to make silly comedys and not serious kung fu films. the action is top notch but if kung foolery is not your tastes you might not like it. but shaws have a flavor their very own and i pretty much enjoy all shaws. if you know chin siu ho then you know what kind of film it will be. awesome action sick shapes silly comedy.
ADVENTURE IN DENMARK- chan wei man was in the lead and you should know what to expect from him. it does have adult elements so it may not be for everyone. its a basher in a modern setting
BATTLE FOR THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA- more of a historical drama with some large scale battle scenes but it is great to see many of my favorite stars from taiwan in the same film as shaw actors.
PATRIOTIC HEROINE- i have this but i haven't watched it yet but the cast looks great.
THE RATS(OF HONG KONG) its a biker film or gang film i watched the french version its alan tang i really like him but everyone may not like early 70's films. its basher action but alan is like jimmy wang heavy on the bad ass. if you like that swagger its for you
HEROINE SUSAN:THE SISTER OF SHANTUNG BOXER- this one is interesting to me because i haven't seen it but i looks like basher action and it looks good!
DRAGON AND TIGER JOINT HANDS-this also looks to be a rare basher that would be interesting

About Kung-fu movies: For example, a kung fu movie for me is " village, many styles, classic clothes, perfection when they fight or train " and so on. Movies that are like that, is for example,, Warriors two and Legend of a fighter. Now, this movies are all about kung fu , what i mean is,, the movie have to go deep with the kung fu thing. But that is what i like.
So people who know me,, can guess what title i prefer, good? bad? doesnt matter. ----I WILL FINALLY KNOCK YOU DOWN, DAD-----
