Here are some screenies of my remaster of THE KOREAN CONNECTION which I had since a while now. We would need to have some subs. for this since it's all in Korean.
Yeah, the KMDB vod bank is pretty cool. They still need to release more titles but waht they have so far is more than interesting. Also, one great thing is that most movies are widescreen and all in their original language.
One thing though, is that for some titles I've noticed that the ratio is not right (a bit like the problem you had Kaleyboy). For instance, when I grabbed the KOREAN CONNECTION, the picture was badly vertically streched, so I had to correct that.
the best thing would be to make subs out of the English Dubbed version. For the extra scenes I can translate them with the help of Korean friends because it's not that much. But I'm not good at subbing stuff so I prefer to leave that to someone else more dedicated. However, my strong point is to remaster video images, so that I don't mind, as a matter of fact I'm restoring a whole bunch of old tapes nowadays but sadly no Kung fu flicks, just crazy rare movies I have.
You need to make a membership on KMDB which is free. Now to download the films from where I am (Korea) they are about 50 cents each. If you are living outside Korea I dont know if the price is different.
But in any case, I already made a rip of that print, so don't bother grabbing it ;)
Now that we have a serious translator we can bring back this nice print on the table for a future project after everybody received their Miss Please Be Patient.
