Maybe you know I did an extended version of "Bruce Lee, A Dragon Story" before. Now I'm working on editing together different versions of "Exit the Dragon, Enter the Tiger".
The UK DVD is a nice widescreen print, but has a small scene with nunchakus cut out. I'm also using the german widescreen VHS rip that kfist did, which has the nunchakus and full uncut credit sequence.
Both versions has a lot of other different cuts as well, dialogue and action here and there. Altogether it's now several minutes longer but some bits are only in german so I will need someone to translate it into english later.
Do you think there are more material for this edit in other versions of the film? If you can help, let me know!
Hi friends, I know I don't come here often enough but here's an update.
I had the german bits translated but I've now incorporated the mandarin version into the mix as well. This means this will be a 99% widescreen, full uncut, dual language version. The edit is pretty much done, and I'm now working on the subtitles. I'm a very restless type of guy so it's not moving too fast... :D
Also I've done "The Real Young Bruce Lee" but it's a pretty pointless edit so I don't know if I'm even releasing it... :D More info on request ;)
