After many years of wandering, Sam the Seed returns home to find that his wife has adopted a son in his absence. Sam dislikes the lad and tortures him both mentally and physically. Devastated, the boy runs away and takes a job in an inn where he meets Rubber Legs (Hwang Jang Lee) and his student. He overhears that they are looking for Sam the Seed and want to eliminate him, making Rubber Legs northern Drunk Mantis boxing supreme. Foggy runs back to warn Sam the Seed, who is then injured by Rubber Legs in a magnificent duel involving fighting with cups. Sam sends Foggy to Sickness Teacher for herbs to cure him, and the doctor teaches Foggy the uncoventional art of Sickness boxing. Now armed with this sick form of fighting, Foggy is ready for the Drunk Mantis and his student. This, the only true sequel to Drunken Master , and is a true masterpiece of martial arts cinema.
I recommend this movie to everyone that likes old school kung fu movies. Here you will see the beauty of Kung fu. Hwang Jang lee makes good stances and its very beautiful to watch how he moves. For people that dont like old school Kung fu movies,, cause you maybe think its **** cause they move slow and that its not like something you see on movies wich are made today,, just try to relax and watch the technics they are using and how they are performing the fights or a training sequence. Just give it a try,, cause everything that you are missing in the modern day kung fu movies ( and i am sure you do) is actually on the classic movies. I will fight a lot just to convince everyone that true masters was involved in the classic movies, and that we all should not forget that old school kung fu movies still are alive with true kung fu movies collectors.
